No bears today unfortunately. Brilliant morning though, lovely light, clear skies. Spent around two hours driving around the tundra till we came across a empty bear den which we were able to explore more closely than if it was occupied!
More driving around till lunch. Cloud started moving in and by afternoon we had low visibility and returned to the lodge early and empty handed.
The bears win today.
